It’s been kind of a crazy busy week for me, but I’ve been trying to spend as much time as I can outside, because it seems like we’re at that point where summer is just about to give up and turn around. Here’s some new music videos to help summer cheat death.

$ir Abe – LIV & MADDIE

Go ahead, tell me you’re not having fun right now. Everything about this song and this video is crazy good. I love that $ir Abe is gay in a fuck you kinda way it’s a fun vibe.

underscores – The Peace

If you haven’t heard this yet, do yourself a favour. Crazy beat, and the video (correctly) makes smoking and being dirty on a dancefloor seem like the best things in the world.

Ella Woolsey – winner

A bit late to this one, but I found it this week so I’m gonna count it. Sometimes you gotta get a little twee with it, and this song is absolutely perfect for that. Full album review coming soon but take this for now.

Dev Lemons – only one way to know

Another album I’m really looking forward too. The video is also absolutely fantastic. This kind of spacey twee late summer thing just hits so good right now.

Faerybabyy – is it true?

Big beach goth vibes from this one. Reminds me of skateparks and boardwalks and sunscreen and sand. Also just a great fun song and insanely good video.

Spuzi – Blaine!

The beat is fun and lighthearted, the lyrics not so much but put together it’s one of those sleeper sad songs.

$WVNK – PPP

This video is fucking crazy. I don’t even know what to say except whoever the editor was should be paid double. $WVNK’s rapping is also top notch as always, and the beat is so smooth and cool it’s addictive. Full album review coming soon for this one, don’t sleep!

Cannelle – Sunshine

If you don’t know Cannelle, you should. Her latest album was produced by Oscar Scheller, whose credits include PinkPantheress, Shygirl, Lily Allen, Zara Larsson and Kelela. I’d keep an eye on her.

That’s it for this edition of the roundup. Thanks for reading! Check back next week for more new music, old music, cool music, stupid music…
