JEUNE MORTY – JEUNE MORTY VOL. 1

This album is as weird as it’s album cover makes it out to be, but in all the best ways. Produced by a coterie of French producers straight from the underground: silverknight, VKKNG, Brak3, lucidbeatz, and OK, so you know the beats are not going to be what you’re used to listening to someone like Tiako.
The opening track, Ivoire Feeling, was one of the lead singles for the album. It’s kind of standard fare for modern French rap, with references to Douk Saga and an poppy afrobeats style beat. A fun celebration of Franco-Ivoirien music and culture but nothing to really write home about.
The next track, Tapper, is much of the same. BLah BLah Blah this is a test so i will come back later, but I give this album a 7.5/10. Could be more consistent but the inconsistency is part of the fun.
